Children and their families encouraged to sign up for book reading and exploration class at preserve1/10/2024 Ideal for families with young children we hope our Read and Explore program will become a regular scheduled meeting of young minds. The idea behind this program is that by creating a hands-on educational experience we can help foster a love of reading, learning and exploring at an early age. We will start at 10am with an interactive reading of "Secrets of Winter" written by Carron Brown and Georgina Tee. Upon completion of the reading, Vernal School Program Supervisor, Marissa Crames will move the group outside. We will then bring the pages to life as we seek out what secrets the forest has hidden from us during these long cold months. Perfect for inquisitive children who love to ask questions. So please bring your future explorers and scientists.
