On Tuesday, June 25th, at 10 a.m., the Vernal School's early literacy and STEM Program, "Read and Explore," will focus on butterflies and explore their life cycle. This free weekly program is family-friendly and tailored for preschool-aged children. The group will meet in Montour Preserve's Visitor Center. After reading about butterflies and learning about their life cycle, children will get a change to have an up-close look at different kinds of butterflies to discuss their colors and patterns. Upon the conclusion of the indoor portion of the program, children will have the opportunity to go outside and look for butterflies in nature. Please register for this program below.
