Habitat Helper day camps at Montour Preserve teach preschoolers about local animal environments4/7/2025 The popular Habitat Helpers preschool day camp programs return this summer at the Montour Preserve via the Vernal School Environmental Education Partnership. Sessions are designed for ages 3-6. Each program day is based on a specific local habitat. Students will learn all about it through hands-on exploration and snack, finishing the class with a themed project that improves their backyard. Programs run 9-11 a.m. each day. If you want to leave you child, he/she must be potty trained. If you have questions, contact course director Paige Zaktansky at [email protected] At this time, all Habitat Helper programs are full. If any openings come up, we will announce it here. We strive to keep our programs free or low-cost to the public. Please help us achieve this goal with a donation to the Vernal School Environmental Education Partnership at the Montour Preserve.
