Camp Chillisquaque: Day Camp for Children ages 7-12

This summer, Vernal School will host "Camp Chillisquaque," a free educational day camp for children aged 7 to 12. The camp will be offered on four different days throughout the summer. The programming at Camp Chillisquaque will be fun, hands-on, and highlight many of most well-known activities Montour Preserve offers.

At Camp Chillisquaque, children will participate in a rotation of interactive stations, including a fossil dig, pond study, guided hike, and a scavenger hunt. Through these activities, they will explore diverse ecosystems and develop a better understanding of the natural world.

Children should bring their own water bottles, water shoes, sneakers/hiking boots and be prepared to get muddy.  The Vernal School will provide a snack to those who attend. 

Space is limited and registrations will be processed first come, first serve.  Please register early to ensure your spot.
