7/30/24 Read and Explore: Some Smug Slug

At 10 a.m. on July 30th, Read and Explore, the Vernal School's early STEM and literacy program will be reading "Some Smug Slug" written by Duncan Edwards.  Designed for preschool age children and their families, Read and Explore provides hands on educational experiences that bring books to life. 

This program will meet inside of Montour Preserves visitor center for a group reading of "Some Smug Slug".  After completing the reading and a short discussion of the book. The program will then head outside for a nature walk and search for other types of animals whose name start with the letter "S".
